Kirstie Williams is a practising printmaker and textile artist based in Leeds & Wakefield in West Yorkshire, UK.
Her practice is process led and primarily explores the research and application of natural dyes and handmade plant based printing inks.

She draws inspiration from textile heritage, historic buildings and archival material from which to develop her work and ideas. Sustainability plays a strong role inĀ  her design process, emphasising slowness in the creation and consumption of products to instil quality and foster traditional skills.

Kirstie is a founder and committee member of Leeds Print Workshop, a Cooperative printmaking studio located in the centre of Leeds. Established in 2016, LPW aims to offer affordable printmaking facilities to people in Leeds and surrounding areas and also bring new people to the medium through a range of printmaking workshops and courses.
